The Nook

Scroll

After living in our last house for a while, I realised that there had to be a large void behind a wall halfway up the stairs.

So I set about turning it into something special. I cut a hole in the wall, moved the pipework hidden behind to a new location and wired it for power and lighting. I then lined it with insulation and OSB for a treehouse look.

After the build was finished it was entered into a competition for den building. It was personally recognised by George Clarke, and he sent me this!

The Nook had two ways to access it; either by the wooden ladder or for the more adventurous a small climbing wall complete with 3D printed Petg holds.
